KB Natural Horsemanship assesses each horse and rider to develop customized training packages that assist horse and rider in achieving their goals. Whether your goal is pleasure riding out on the trails or performance riding in the show ring, we can help you get where you want to go.

Kim working with HarmonyKB Natural Horsemanship is dedicated to training practices that work with the horse as an individual, instead of a one size fits all approach. As a result, areas outside training are evaluated like saddle fit, chiropractic care, dental care, nutrition, and hoof care to ensure the horse is able to perform at its highest level. Many “behavioral training problems” can be traced back to an ill fitting saddle, or the horse's physical structure is out of alignment causing the horse to be stiffer on one side of their body compared to the other side.

Kim works to understand the horse and how the horse learns and communicates.  She incorporates this into her training to ensure the horse understands what she is asking.  If the horse doesn’t understand, then Kim works to find a better way to communicate exactly what she is looking for in a response from the horse.  Horse’s are very black and white when comes to communication and it is our job to remove all the gray areas so they understand what it is we are asking them to do.

Kim and Night CAHC Estes Park Show Trail Class

Kim works with horses of any breed and discipline.  She is a strong advocate of cross training.  Cross training allows a horse to receive a mental break from their daily grind job.  It exposes them to new possibilities and allows them to develop further physically, mentally and emotionally.  So whether you’re an arena rider needing some trail work, or a trail rider needing some arena work, Kim can help you and your horse expand your training methods and tools to develop a well rounded horse that becomes better prepared to do his job.

Kim encourages all horse owners to participate in the training process, and all questions are welcome.  By attending any or all of the training sessions with your horse, you will learn how to establish the consistency required between you and your horse for your future together.  Kim will also hand out “homework” assignments for you and your horse to work on in between the training sessions.

Kim is located at Fiery Sky Ranch in Elizabeth, Colorado. Kim will also travel to your location for training. Training packages are available and fully customizable to fit your needs.
